In what looked like a scene from WWE (yes it's rehearsed), Joffrey Lupul saw a chance to deliver a hard check on Vancouver Canucks captain Henrik Sedin next to his goal but, instead of laying into Sedin, he took out his own Maple Leafs teammate Nazem Kadri with a ferocious elbow. And Kadri went down like Randy Orton hit with a chair . Lupul had his sights squarely on his opponent until Sedin did a nice head fake and avoided the high hit. Kadri just happened be the next in the line of fire. If it weren't on his own teammate, Lupul might be hearing from the NHL's Department of Player Safety after that blow.
