NHL Three Stars: Shea Weber wins in OT; Anderson saves the Senators (Puck Daddy)

No. 1 Star: Shea Weber, Nashville Predators Weber’s aggressive pinch 44 seconds into overtime resulted in the game-winning goal for the Predators, as Nashville defeated the Detroit Red Wings, 4-3 . Weber earlier assisted on Craig Smith’s first of the season. No. 2 Star: Craig Anderson, Ottawa Senators Anderson continued his stellar season with a 37-save effort, leading the Senators to a 3-1 win over the New York Islanders. That included 17 saves in the second period alone. Andre Benoit and Dave Dziurzynski scored their first NHL goals in the win.
