As the NHL and NHLPA continue to kill the sport of hockey, it appears that one online retailer has leaked a general idea of what the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs might have worn during the 2013 Winter Classic on New Years Day. The images were originally posted on a SportsLogos.net by and individual by who goes by the handle Pizzaman7294 according to icethetics.com. Sure that doesn’t lead to much credibility unless Pizzaman7294 is the handle of Mike Ilitch the images were reportedly downloaded from FansEdge.com. Now although the shirts and images aren’t available to the public icethetics.com states that the images themselves still exist in the site’s database. Even though this years Winter Classic was called off, these thread could very well still be used in 2014 when it’s expected the game between the Wings and Leafs will take place from Michigan Stadium.
